George Zimmerman — murderer, woman beater, sociopath, waste of oxygen, shitweasel — is auctioning the gun he used to murder Trayvon Martin. According to media sources, the starting bid is $5,000.
From The Atlantic:
George Zimmerman, the neighborhood-watch volunteer who was acquitted of murder in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin, is auctioning the gun he used to killed the black 17-year-old in Sanford, Florida.
Here is part of Zimmerman’s post:
Prospective bidders, I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American Firearm Icon. The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012. … Many have expressed interest in owning and displaying the firearm including The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. This is a piece of American History.
The Smithsonian has publicly stated they have no interest in the gun.
Zimmerman claims a portion of the proceeds:
“will be used to: fight BLM violence against Law Enforcement officers, ensure the demise of” Angela Corey’s career as a prosecutor, “and Hillary Clinton’s anti-firearm rhetoric.”
George Zimmerman, a wannabe cop (who wasn’t), a man whose own social media postings portray him as a racist, and a man who has obvious problems with violence, could very well get a lot of money for the gun he used to murder Trayvon Martin. Especially if the comments on the Fox “News” Facebook page are any indication. Comments like:
Dan Lyons This pistol is a great piece of history and it’s value increased dramatically when the bullet killed “Trayvon the THUG & THIEF”. It should bring $10K on the auction block. BTW, the death of “Trayvon the THUG & THIEF” was ruled a justifiable homicide by the jury.
Budd Abbott Good move! The gun he took the trash out with…
Oh, and this:

I wish there had been a way to write this without using a murderer’s name, I truly do. The name we need to remember is Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old kid who was walking home at night. He had no weapon, he had candy and iced tea. He wasn’t breaking the law, he wasn’t out to harm anyone, he was walking home from the store. Because he was black, and his murderer was a terrified jackass with a gun, though, Trayvon Martin is dead.
Trayvon Martin’s murderer is, at least in my opinion, evil. This is a man (and I use that term loosely) who seeks to profit from killing a teenager. He’s proud of that act, the act of murder. He has tried to profit from his “notoriety” before, by teaming up with a hate-filled gun store owner to sell “art.”
Hopefully, this latest attempt to bring in blood money will fail in much the same way as his confederate flag paintings.
The Washington Post has a very in-depth article on Trayvon Martin’s murderer, that includes the many controversies said murderer has been involved in since killing Trayvon. Tweets of Trayvon’s dead body, calling President Obama “an ignorant baboon,” and Tweeting to a critic “We all know how it ended for the last moron who hit me. Give it a whirl, cupcake.” This is not a normal human being, this is a murderer — a violent narcissist — who lacks common decency and empathy. This is a man who enjoyed killing a teenager. This is a man who enjoys hurting people. This is a man who lies.
But this is the man who, today and many other days, is defended by the right-wing, whose horrible actions on that rainy night are cheered by conservatives who dare call themselves Christian. This is not a man. Trayvon Martin’s murderer is a monster, who keeps trying to make money off the death of a 17-year-old kid, whose only crime was walking while black.
Let’s show Trayvon Martin’s murderer that he has no power. Take a moment and visit The Trayvon Martin Foundation website, and if you can, give a small donation. Especially today. when Trayvon Martin’s murderer is once again attempting to profit from the death of a teenager.
UPDATE: According to Orlando media, the auction has been removed by the website.
